It's that time again. Set the stage for another great afternoon or evening on Kauai! Highlighted by Kauai's magnificent coastal views. This afternoon's relaxing Whale Watching Sail offers the chance to get with new and old friends, sip a cool beverage and enjoy delightful pupus while witnessing first-hand, the beauty of Hawaii’s Humpback Whales and if you're lucky, dolphins!. 

Hawaii's majestic humpback whales get their name from their style of exposing their dorsal fin when they dive, which gives them a humped appearance.

Your Captain will provide an informative narration of how this North Pacific group of Humpbacks migrates from coastal Alaska starting in November and congregate mostly in the Hawaiian waters before heading back to Alaska between April and May. With adults reaching sizes of up to 45 feet and 80,000 pounds, these Humpbacks come to Hawaii mainly to give birth and to mate.

What To Know...

Duration

• Each whale watch is two hours in duration.

Transportation

• A rental car, Uber, or taxi is necessary to get to this activity

Whale Watching Schedule (two trips daily)

• 1:30 pm Check-in
• 4:00 pm Check-in

Drive time from Grand Hyatt Kauai

• Allow at least 30-minutes to drive from the hotel to Eleele Boat Harbor

Inclusions

• 65' sailing catamarans custom-built for Kauai's coastline 
• Open Bar with juices, sodas, juices, beer, wine, and Mai Tais
• Light pupus (appetizers)

• Remember to bring a light sweater or jacket.

Cancellation Policy

• This experience maintains a 24-hour cancellation policy.  Tours canceled outside of 24-hours of their service date will be refunded in full less a 10% cancellation service fee. No refunds will be provided for tours canceled within 24-hours of the service date. 

Whale Watch Costs Inclusive of Hawaii Taxes and Fees

• Adults:  $00.50 each
• Youth 12 - 17 years old:  $00.40 each
• Children 2 - 11 years old:  $00.30 each
